A Radio Station with a Global Conscience

A Washington, D.C. radio station-- 94.7-- has recently changed its formate. Now known as "The Globe," the station has a Mission Statement and a decidedly pro-environmental approach. I wonder if this is a new trend in radio? (Of course, it should also be noted that they also have some legendary DJ's.)
