UN Panel Releases Report on Climate Change
Nov-17-07 11:46 pm
![]() The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its Synthesis Report Saturday in Valencia, Spain. The report can be found here. The New York Times notes the Secretary-General's observations: Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, describing climate change as “the defining challenge of our age,” released the final report of a United Nations panel on climate change here on Saturday and called on the United States and China to play “a more constructive role.”We'll see what happens at the Bali session next month and what role the US will play. Unfortunately, I have difficulty envisioning this Administration accepting Ban's challenge to play a constructive leadership roel.
